Society@school 2.0 is a Social Reading application developed by Telecom Italia for education available for schools that have decided to adopt it for their students. With society@ school 2.0, while reading an electronic book , you can create, view, and share notes as if they were post-it notes inserted within the text , with your classmates and / or with your professors . The reading becomes a shared experience.

With society@school 2.0 you can:
-Download and share books on iLibrary ;
-Import books from iTunes, directly from the web or from your e-mail address ;
-Highlight the text using different colors to point out the parts of the book that interest you most;
-Add private notes on your favorite books or share it with your classmates / professors. In the absence of connectivity, or if the note is not what you want, you can save it as a draft decide when to publish it;
-Read the notes that classmates or professors have included;
-When you open the app or via the "refresh" button, youll receive notifications of new notes that have been included in a book;
-Customize your app selecting your profile picture, background, font, and much more;
-Translate text while reading
-Use simplified mode of reading that modify the page layout and increases the readability of the text;
-Use automatic text to speech (*).

The app supports PDF© and EPUB and uses the cloud to store and manage notes created by users.

The app is available for iPad 2 or newer with iOS6 or later.
For writing and sync notes with the server a Wi-Fi connection or data connection is required.
